Nepal national team head coach Abdullah Almutairi is in a stable condition after he collapsed on the sidelines in today's Asian Cup Qualifiers encounter against Kuwait in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

The man who hails from the land where the matches are being held collapsed in the starting minutes of the second half was taken off the stadium by the paramedics to a local medical facility.

Almutairi has been suffering from an illness related to his heart for some time now and this incident has been thought to be related to that very illness. But the positive news is that he is stable now.

Nepal lost the match 4-1 against Kuwait. Assistant coach Kiran Shrestha handled the proceedings after Almutairi was taken off the pitch.
