The Jhapa Gold Cup Organizing Committee will honor the players and officials of Jhapa Football Club who became the Martyrs' Memorial 'C' Division League Champions with cash. The Gold Cup Organizing Committee is going to provide more than Rs 3,00,000 as prize money to the players and officials of Jhapa Football Club.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Jhapa Gold Cup organizing committee held on Thursday. According to Gold Cup President Binod Basnet, the players and officials of the club will be given Rs. 11,000 each as a token of appreciation.

Jhapa Football Club became the champions in the 'C' division league and was promoted to the B division. General Secretary Gajendra Bahadur Poudel said that the Jhapa Gold Cup has decided to give prizes to encourage the players. A special program will be organized to provide Rs 11,000 each to 28 players and officials of the club.
