Damak Gold Cup: Nepal Police Club Enters Semifinals

Defending champions Nepal Police Club has entered semifinals of Damak gold cup football tournament.

Nepal Police Club defeated Avenir FC Cameroon 5-4 on penalties on Monday to enter last four.

Jospin wasted the kick for Avenir FC in the spot kick battle. Ajit Bhandari, Nir Kumar Rai, Suman Subedi, Saujan Yakkah and Jumanu Rai converted their kicks for Nepal Police. They will play against Gorkha Boys in the semifinal match.

NPC defender Anjan Rai became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

MMC will play against MFC Darjeeling in the first semifinal match on Tuesday.

 

 

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 13 lakh.
