Ward No. 6 has advanced to the semifinals of the 4th Mayor's Cup Ward-Level Knockout Football Tournament, which is currently taking place in Sunsari, Duhabi. On Monday, Ward No. 6 advanced to the final four by defeating Ward No. 3 4-1 in the second quarterfinal.

In the first minute of the match at the Shree Saraswati Ma.Vi. ground in Duhabi, Sagar Sharma scored the first goal for Ward No. 6. In the 26th minute, Ajay Goswami doubled the lead. In the 35th minute, Manish BK scored the third goal.

Teknath Thapaliya, on the other hand, scored a goal for Ward No. 3 in the 49th minute, but the team was unable to get back into the game. In the 74th minute, Manish BK scored his second goal for Ward No. 6 and the team's fourth goal.

Manish BK was named Man of the Match after scoring two goals in the game. Munna Haluwai, a special guest, presented him with a cash prize of Rs 2,000 and a medal. On Tuesday, Ward No. 7 and 12 will play in the third quarterfinal match, according to the organizers.

The winner of the competition organized by Duhabi Municipality and aided by Eleven Arrows Club, Duhabi, Sunsari will get Rs. 1,01,111 in cash including the title while the runner-up will receive Rs. 51,000.
