Ward no. 5 has lifted the title of the President Cup Running Shield Inter-ward Tournament 2078 being held in Miklajung Village Municipality, Madhumalla, Morang. Ward no. 1 defeated Ward no. 1 on penalties to clinch the title.

No goals were scored in regulation time and the match went to penalties. In the shootout, Ward no. 5 won 5-4. The winners received Rs. 51,000, a trophy and certificates while the runners-up received Rs. 31,000.

The winners' Deuchan Rai was named the man of the match of the final.

Similarly, Ward no. 1 skipper Dilip Rai finished as the highest goalscorer of the tournament and was also awarded the best forward of the tournament. Ward no. 1's Padam Rai and Aashish Rai were named the best defender and midfielder respectively. Ward no. 5's Nishan Magar was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

The emerging player of the tournament was Sagar Adhikari of Ward no. 7. Sudesh Rai of Ward no. 9 was named the best player of the tournament.
