Nepal Army defeated Ruslan Three Star Club 2-0 to win the title of Ruslan 9th Simara gold cup in Simara.

Super sub Dinesh Henjan and Nawayug Shrestha scored apiece for the winners.

Henjan replaced George Prince Karki in 37th minute of first half.

Henjan scored the opener in 58th minute while Nawayug Shrestha doubled the lead in 73rd minute.

Santosh Tamang became the man of the final match. He received Rs 5,000 cash.



Army has now won fifth title of the season. They won Bishal Memorial, 2nd Satashi gold cup, 3rd Kakarvitta gold cup, 2nd Far West Khaptad gold cup and 9th Simara gold cup this season.

The champions received Rs 5,51,000 whereas runners up team got half of that amount.

Nawa Jana Jagriti yuwa club organized the championship, which was sponsored by Ruslan.
