News National Women's League Postponed

ANFA have announced the postponement of the National Women's League through their website today.

The league that was scheduled to start from January 28 is now postponed indefinitely by the ANFA citing the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country.

The new dates will be announced whenever it seems feasible, says ANFA.

Earlier, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City had qualified for the tournament in November 2021 by reaching the final of the Deputy Mayor's Cup National Women's League Qualifiers.

A total of 8 teams were scheduled to participate in the league this year. The three departmental teams; Army, Police and APF along with Chandrapur Municipality, Waling Municipality, Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City are those eight teams.
