News Chitwan: Bharatpur FC Clinch The Title Of Madi Gold Cup

KBA Global Bharatpur FC (BFC) have clinched the title of the third Madi Gold Cup National Tournament 2078 held in Basantapur, Madi.

In the final held on Saturday, BFC defeated Kaya Sports Kathmandu-11 by 2-0 to win the title. Abdullah scored a brace for BFC held in Basantapur sports ground in Chitwan.

BFC's Anish Mahato was declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament, while Kathmandu-11's Silo Martin was adjudged the best defender. Kathmandu-11's Subash Khadka was named the best midfielder while BFC's Abdullah was the highest goalscorer of the tournament.

The award of the best player of the tournament went to Ansan Tamang of BFC. Madi-11 were given the fair play award and BFC's Dhurba Bhusal was named the best coach and the emerging player award went to Rabin Rai of Madi-11.

With the title, BFC received Rs. 2.5 lakhs while the runners-up Kathmandu-11 received Rs. 1 lakhs, 25 thousand rupees along with a shield, medals, certificates. The individual award winners were also awarded with exciting crash prizes.

The winners, runners-up and departmental best players were awarded prizes and certificates by Madi Mayor Thakur Prasad Dhakal and Madi Sports Development Committee Chairman Ram Bandhu Pokharel.
