Sahara FC UK donated Rs 25,000 to Pemba Lama, a player of SWSC, amidst Purnima Tika ceremony organized by Social Welfare Sports Centre at Nayabazar on Monday.
Sahara FC UK representatives, Mr Rupendra Bikram Gurung and Sachhindra Gurung jointly handed over the money to Lama.
SWSC officials were present at the money hand over program.
GoalNepal.com initiated the campaign to collect the fund for Pemba Lama, who had brutally fractured his hand and the family of Lama was unable to cover the medical expenses.
SWSC thanked Sahara FC UK and GoalNepal.com for the help.
"We are grateful to Sahara FC UK for their help", SWSC co-ordinator, Nabin Maharjan told GoalNepal.com.
"We are also thankful to GoalNepal.com who is always working for the development of Nepalese football".
Speaking on behalf of Sahara FC UK, Mr Rupendra Gurung felt proud to help injured Pemba Lama.
"Sahara FC UK is always working for the development of Nepalese football", gurung said, "We (Sahara FC UK) feel proud to contribute something".
