Tribhuwan Army get their first win of the ongoing Martyr's Memorial A Division League campaign with a 1-0 scalp over Brigade Boys Club today at the Dasharath Stadium.

Bharat Khawas' late goal in the 85th minute of the match proved to be enough for Army to get their first win of the campaign. Army are still undefeated in the league with two draws in two matches earlier.

In a rather uneventful first half, both teams had a lof of chances to buildup and create but couldn't create enough chances to score a goal.

However, the second half saw Army dominate the ball and create more chances.

In the 62nd minute of the game, a wonderful opportunity fell for Tek Bahadur Budathoki who only had to beat the keeper from the left hand side of the six-yard box. But he over hit it and skied the opportunity.

In the 69th minute, a wonderful opportunity for Bharat Khawas was saved by Pruna Chemjong. A brilliant through ball came to the Army skipper but Purna came off his line to block the shot.

Army finally broke the deadlock in the 85th minute. Bharat Khawas finished up a Santosh Tamang through-ball in a one on one situation. Purna Chemjong didn't even go down to save that. It was brilliantly put in on the left bottom corner. And that goal proved to be decisive.

Army move to five points from three matches and are still undefeated in the league. BBC meanwhile face their first defeat of the campaign and are on four points from three matches.

Army will face Chyasal Youth Club in the fourth gameweek while BBC will face Jawalakhel Youth Club.
