Makawanpur DFA Member Bimal Shrestha has passed away.

Bimal Shrestha, a member of the Makawanpur District Football Association Committee and vice-president of the Potala Club, passed away in Sikkim last night.

Shrestha, who was in India on visit, was discovered unresponsive and was pronounced dead by doctors when he was taken to the hospital, according to Makawanpur District Football Association president Tika Lama.

Shrestha, who was also the accountant at Shramik School in Hetauda, has made an incalculable contribution to Makawanpur's football scene.

Tika Lama, the president of the District Makwanpur District Football Association, has conveyed his sorrow at the death of member Shrestha.
