Birtamod United has entered semifinals of Chitra Kumar Rai memorial knockout football championship at Kechankawal, Jhapa.

Birtamod United defeated Prithvinagar sporting club 5-4 on penalties to enter semifinals on Sunday.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time.

Rajgadj FC will play against Salbari FC Sanichare on Monday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 60,000.
