Nepal APF suffered 4-0 loss at the hands of Nepal Army in quarterfinal match of Ruslan 9th Simara gold cup  on Sunday.

Their two players, Ranjan Bista and Anjan Bista were sent off in 73rd minute for their involvement in a fight with Nawayug Shrestha. Shrestha was also sent off for the same incident.

APF coach Ratna Kaji Maharjan said, "Players should have kept their cool. This is not good but It (Red card incident) happens in football".

"4-0 loss in an unexpected result. We made technical mistakes and we were under pressure. Nepal Army is a tough team. They are one of the best teams.

"In second half, we adopted an offensive strategy. But we werenot successful", said Maharjan.
