Nepal's first private football club, Jhapa FC has signed a Singapore based Nepalese player Laken Limbu for upcoming Martyr's memorial C Division league qualifiers.
The club - which is based in Rajgadh, Jhapa - has already signed a deal with the holding midfielder who is now in Kathmandu.
Limbu is born and raised in Singapore. He went to F-17academy and ANZA soccer academy and has visited Sweden, Spain and Malaysia for many football tournaments.
"We are very excited to sign Laken Limbu for the qualifiers", said club VP and spokesperson Mr. Sujan Gautam.
The club is setting up a closed camp in Jhapa for the qualifiers. AFC licensed coach, Sachhindra Dhimal is training the players.
ANFA is kicking off the qualifiers from Bhadra 10, 2078. Three teams will go to C Division league.
