Bagmati club, Sarlahi has entered semifinals of 4th Bagmati gold cup football tournament.

Bagmati defeated Himalayan Sherpa club 3-2 in the quarterfinal match played at Phaparbari, Makwanpur on Tuesday.

Stephan Samir (27'), Bimal Ghising (32'), Maxwell (56') scored apiece for the winners. Bartaman Rai (48') and Sujan Thapa Magar (60') scored apiece for the Mountaineers.

Bimal Ghising became the player of the match and received NRs 5,000 cash.

Defending champs Jawalakhel youth club will play against NJJYC, Simara on Wednesday.

Bagmati rural municipality sports development committee, Makwanpur is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 8 lakh. Runners up team will get NRs 4 lakh.
