Nepal police club coach Ananta Raj Thapa is on cloud nine for not winning matches but for his boys who have done justice to his philosophy.

Thapa, the former Nepal international, said he was extremly proud with his young guns for believing his way of football.

"We played with different strategy today. We wanted to score and we wanted to maintain the lead. And we did the same. Every match is different to us. I am very happy with my boys for believing in my way of football".

"I just don't want to win match(es). I want my boys to play beautiful football. In today's match, we didn't underestimate Dharan FC. We paid our respect to them. And my boys kept their nerves with 1-0 lead and finished the game", said Thapa.

"Honestly, we haven't done much prep for this tournament. We are into matches with just 20 days prep. We won national sports council game in Dang. That motivated us. In this tournament, we defeated Jhapa and MMC. Our confidence is growing after every match. Next challenge is how we can beat Three Star Club. We will sit and plan. We will try our best to win the title", he added.

"Boys have made me happy. If this team work together, we can hope NPC will regain its form", he added.

NPC will play the final match against Three Star Club on Saturday. The champions will get Rs 7 lakh.
