Venus Sundarpani & Sahara Sporting have registered win in the on-going Suryodaya municipality cup at Karfok, Ilam.

Venus defeated new generation 6-1 in the first match played on Wednesday. Manish Thapa scored hat trick for the winners.

Sahara sporting defeated Kanyam XI 5-1 in the second match.

Sixteen teams are participating in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1 lakh.
