Dhanushadham mayor cup gold cup got underway at Dhanushadham municipality, Dhanusha on Thursday.

Fusion FC Udayapur stunned Bagmati FC Sarlahi 3-1 in the opening match. The winners also entered semifinals.

Sunil Khadka scored a brace while Ashok Khawas added another for the winners.

Bijaya Ghalan scored a consolation goal for Bagmati FC.

Teams from various districts are taking part in the event.
