Birgunj United will take on Srijana community development centre, Siraha in the opening match of Bandevi Mai cup football tournament today.

The match will be played at Bandevi Mai proposed stadium at 3 PM Nepali time.

Bateshowr rural municipality ward number two and Bandevi Mai yuwa club are the joint organizers of the event.



According to the tournament co-ordinator Ajay Singh, eight teams are taking part in the event. 





Co-ordinator Singh said the matches won’t be played on Kartik 29, 30, Mangsir 1 & 5 due to festivals.

The champions will get Nrs 80,000 and runners up team will get Nrs 40,000.
