Sarlahi: 1st Naya Basti Cup Kicks Off

1st Nayabasti cup football tournament got underway at Bagmati municipality ward number 4 on Saturday.

Jirayat youth club defeated Samaj Sewa club 1-0 in the opening match.

Sagar Singh Thakuri scored the match winner and became the man of the match. 

22 teams are taking part in the event, which is inaugurated by mayor Bharat Thapa.

The tournament has a winning purse of Nrs 20,000.
