Nepal were close to victory but they played out 1-1 draw against Kuwait in 2020 AFC U16 championship qualifiers at Zarqa city, Jordan on Monday night.
Krishan Adhikari Yadav scored the goal for Nepal but Kuwait levelled the score in 90+5th minute through spot.
Nepalese colts were ready to celebrate the win over Kuwait but last minute confusion cost them a goal. This is first point for Nepal in the campaign.
Nepal had suffered 7-0 defeat to Jordan in the first match. Nepal will now play against last edition finalist Tajikistan on September 20.
Earlier today, Tajikistan hammered Sri Lanka 8-0.
