2nd Nuwakot Gold Cup: Sankata Club Beats Chitwan XI To Enter QFs

Sankata club has entered quarterfinals of 2nd Nuwakot gold cup football tournament.

Sankata club defeated Chitwan XI 2-1 at Battar campus ground on Thursday to enter semifinals.

Messouke and Kone Boris scored apiece for the winners. Suresh Kumal scored one for Chitwan.

Kumal became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Hosts Nuwakot XI will play against Bijaya Youth, Hetauda in first quarterfinal match on Friday.

Nuwakot DFA and Nuwakot district sports development committee are organizing the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 6 lakh.
