Sankata club has entered semifinals of 7th Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament in Sarlahi.

Sankata club sidelined NJJYC Simara 3-0 in the third quarterfinal match played at Santosh Shrestha memorial stadium on Tuesday.

Ayush Ghalan, Ganesh Hamal & Manish Dangi scored apiece for the winners.

Dangi became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash plus a gift hamper.

Hosts Bagmati club will play against Machhindra club in the last quarterfinal match on Wednesday.

Bagmati club & Bagmati municipality sports development committee are organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 10 lakh.
