Nepal Steps In To Host SAFF Women's Championship; Biratnagar Is Ready To Host !
Nepal has stepped in to host SAFF women's championship 2018.
According to the source, Sri Lanka has decided not to host the event, which is supposed to be played in coming December month.
Nepal has shown its interest to host the event and Biratnagar could be the venue.
"Biratnagar is ready to host the event if SAFF agrees", ANFA's Dy general secretary Basanta Aryal told the press in Biratnagar.
On Tuesday, Biratnagar mayor Bhim Parajuli visited the stadium and promised all kinds of support.
"We will do everything possible to make the event successful", said Parajuli.
SAFF hasn't said anything about the host country.
Seven SAARC countries shall take part in the event. India are the defending champions.
