Namtok Club and Numafung Youth Club will compete for the title of the 13th Barahkshetra Open Men's Knockout Football Tournament organized on the occasion of the historical Barahkshetra Purnima mela in Falgunand Rural Municipality 2 Imbung of Pachthar.

Namtok defeated Tumbewa Football Club in the first semi-final on Friday and reached the final. Namtok defeated Tumwewa 2-1. Likewise, in the second semi-final, Numafung defeated Nembang Keylang Samaj by three goals to one in a penalty shoot-out to reach the finals. As neither team could score a goal in the allotted time, the result was decided through a penalty shootout.

Aindra Fuel informed that the final match of the tournament will be held on Sunday, November 2nd. The winner of the competition will receive one lakh and ten thousand in cash and a trophy and the runner-up will receive seventy five thousand and a trophy.

Similarly, SS FC Sukepokhari has claimed the title of Open Women's Knockout Football Tournament. SS won the title by defeating Famesuwa Lumphabung by two goals against Shunya in the finals held on Friday.

Vijay Nemwang, president of Two Star Club, informed that the winner of the women's category will receive 10,000 and the runner-up will receive 5,000.
