The much-anticipated Historic Madan Mela 2081 is set to commence on Jestha 14 at Sakranti Bazar, Terahthum. Opening ceremony will be held on Jestha 13.

Supported by Aaatharai Rural Municipality, this vibrant festival will be held at the Tri-Mohan school grounds and promises a wide array of exciting activities.

The highlight of the event is the grand prize of NRs 2 lakh for the winners. In addition to the main football tournament, Madan Mela will feature a variety of cultural and sporting events, including the traditional Dhan Naach, a volleyball tournament, and a dance competition. A special women’s football match is also scheduled, underscoring the festival’s commitment to promoting gender equality in sports.
