SAMBA's Team Guingamp Avoided Relegation
Guingamp, the team of Nepal's star forward Sabitra Bhandari, has avoided relegation.
Despite losing 2-1 to league leaders Lyon on Wednesday night, Guingamp is sure to stay in the top division next season as well.
In that match, Sabitra entered the field as a substitute player in the 73rd minute of the second half. However, the defeat of the team could not be avoided.
After this result, Guingamp, which has 16 points from 21 games, is in 10th place, one place above the relegation zone. Lyon, who won, is in the top position with 61 points.
Guingamp will close the season by playing against Le Havre on May 8th in the last game of the season.
