Dhunibesi Yuva Samaj won the District League organized by Dhading District Football Association.

After winning the first district league in 2064, this club has won the title for the first time in 16 years.

Dhunivesi defeated Bhadrakali Community Society Malekhu with a margin of 2-1.

With the win, Dhunibesi will get to play in the ANFA state league and they received 150,000 in cash.

Success Shrestha of Dhunibesi became the best goalkeeper, Subash A.C. of Dhunibesi became the best defender, and Tara Ale Magar of Bhadrakali was declared as the best Striker.

Ramhari Thapa, General Secretary of Dhading District Football Association, said that the prizes were given by MP Rajendra Prasad Pandey and was chaired by ANFA Dhading President Ramesh Adhikari and ANFA Central Vice President Deepak Khatiwada, Dhunibeshi Municipality Chief Balkrishna Acharya, Thakre Village President Ram Kumar Acharya, Dhuniveshi Deputy Mayor Suraj Upreti, representatives of local political parties and the ward presidents were present.
