The home teams of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality, Okhaldhunga and Mangsebung Rural Municipality, Ilam are going to face each other in the finals of the Provincial Local Level Manebhanjyang rural municipality Chairman's Cup Knockout Football Tournament.

In the first semi-final held on Wednesday, Manebhanjyang defeated Laligurans Municipality, Tehrathum by 2 goals against zero. Raju Rai and Arabind Rai scored for Manebhanjyang. Manebhanjyang's Raju Rai was elected man of the match in the match. He received 5,000 in cash as an award.

In the second semi-final held on Wednesday, Mangsebung Rural Municipality managed to get closer to the title by defeating Siddicharan Municipality, Okhaldhunga in a tiebreaker. Before that, both the teams played a goalless draw.

In the tiebreaker, Mangsebung won 5-3 over Siddhicharan. Mangsebung's Prabin Sampang was declared the man of the match. He also received 5,000 cash as an award.

Now Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality, Okhaldhunga and Mangusebung Rural Municipality, Ilam will compete for the title in the final on Friday 27th of Poush.

The winner of the competition organized by Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality, Okhaldhunga will receive 500,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 300,000. Similarly, the two teams who lose in the semi-finals will get 1 lakh each, according to the organizers.
