News Nawalpur: Rhino Conservation Gold Cup From Magh 27

The Rhino Conservation Gold Cup football tournament is going to start from Saturday 27th of Magh.

Organized by the Rhino Club, the tournament will be held at the Rhino Cup Stadium located at Madhyabindu-2 Kolhuwa in Nawalpur district till Poush 9th.

Doman Bhandari, chairman of the guardian organization Nanda-Bhauju Consumer Committee, said that 12 teams including the Tribhuvan Army Club of the Nepalese Army, the Nepal Police Team, the APF Team of the Armed Police, and the football clubs of the 'A' Division, including the host Nawalpur district, will compete for the title.

The first and second placed teams in the competition will get 10 lakhs, 5 lakhs and a shield and trophy. It is said that the best player, top scorer, best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker and coach of the tournament will get attractive prizes.

It is estimated that 70 lakhs will be spent to complete the competition. Speaking at the press conference, member secretary of National Sports Council Gandaki, Sridhar Sharma, said that it is a matter of pride to conduct the Rhino Conservation Gold Cup football tournament, which has a long history and legacy, and said that the Sports Council will support the competition. He said that since he is also a local of this area, he will look at the competition from a local's point of view.

Similarly, Bhimalal Adhikari, Mayor of Madhyabindu Municipality said that producing local players is a priority for him and the municipality, but the municipality is positive for the continuation and development of the Rhino Cup. He said that since sports are a matter related to education, the government of Tinaita should think seriously for its development.

In the press conference, officials of the organizing organization Rhino Club, officials of Nandabhaju Intermediate Consumer Committee, Deputy Head of Madhyabindu Municipality Purnakala Chaudhary, Madhyabindu Municipality Ward No; Ward President of 1 Tilakram Neupane, Ward No; 2 Ward President Ram Bhakta Adhikari, Ward No; Man Bahadur Mahato of 3, ward no; Journalists including Dilliram Tharu of 4, sports enthusiasts of Madhyabindu municipality were present.

The program was facilitated by Punya Prasad Basyal, a member of Rhino Club. The organizing organization said that the competition is being organized with the aim of increasing the participation of youth in the conservation of rhinoceros and forest and wildlife, and increasing the number of internal and external tourists by combining sports and tourism.
