Nepal Police Club, Kathmandu has entered the finals of the ongoing 8th Suryanagar Gold Cup National Knockout Football Tournament.
In the first semi-final held on Friday, Police defeated Nawalparasi-11 by 1-0 and came close to the title. Police's Osendra Kutwal was declared the man of the match.
In the second semi-final of the competition, which will be held on Saturday, between the organizers Nawa Yuva Club, Bardghat and Rightlane Education Bagmati Yuva Club, Sarlahi, the match coordinator Bharat Gurung informed.
The winner of the competition organized by Shree Nava Yuva Club, Bardghat-16, Suryanagar will get a cash prize of 5 lakhs along with a title, while the runner-up will get 3 lakhs.
A total of eight teams will participate in the final match of the tournament on Falgun 7.
