News Panchthar: Dangihat FC Enters Final Of 1st Kirat Gold Cup

Morang's Dangihat FC has entered the finals of the 1st Kirat Gold Cup held in Phidim. Dangihat came close to the title by beating host Panchthar FC in the tiebreaker.

In the first semi-final match held today, Morang entered the final with a 4-1 goal difference against the host Panchthar. Both teams played a goalless draw at the scheduled time of the match.

When the match was decided by a tiebreaker, Panchthar captain Roshan Angdembe's shot went wide, while Prakash Dhamala's shot was blocked by Dangihat goalkeeper Pramijay Gachchdar. Asim Rai's shot was the only goal for Panchthar.

Umesh Karki, Umesh Rai, Sanjay Dhimal and Abhishek Limbu scored goals for Dangihat. The man of the match was Dangihat's goalkeeper Pramijay Gachchdar. He got 5 thousand in cash.

Today's winning team Dangihat has secured at least 2 lakh 2 thousand 222 rupees by reaching the final. The winning team of the Gold Cup will get 4 lakh 4 thousand 444 cash and a trophy.

Birthamod United of Jhapa will play the last semi-final match against Karnasingh Sonam Smriti Club of Taplejung today.
