In the Sudarshan Ghimire Smriti Youth-21 Football Tournament, three players from Makwanpur who represented Nepal in the Youth-16 SAFF Championship Football Tournament held in Bhutan a few months ago have been honored with cash.
Three players were honored in the final of the Sudarshan Ghimire Smriti Youth-21 football tournament.
Goalkeeper Bishesh Baniyan, defender Bhuvan Kami and forward Santosh Gongba were honored along with 2,500 in cash.
Bhuvan Kami and goalkeeper Bishesh Baniyan are signed to New Road Team (NRT) club academy under ANFA's youth project, while Kami is playing football in Tribhuvan Army Club's club academy.
Sudarshan Ghimire Memorial U-21 Hetouda Challenge Cup title was won by Regal Hetauda Resort ANFA Makwanpur. In the final, Anfa Makwanpur defeated Real Star Club 4-0 and managed to capture the title.
