News Laboratory School Clinch Third Place In Inter-School IGP Cup

Laboratory School has succeeded in coming third in the 28th Inter-School IGP Cup Football Running Trophy organized by Nepal Police School Sanga since 21st Mangsir.

In the match completed on Wednesday, they defeated Nepal Police School Team B 1-0 and succeeded in becoming third. In a very competitive game, Laboratory School kept Nepal Police School (B) under pressure for most of the time and the goal scored by Robin Tamang in the first half became decisive.

Bishesh Baniya, the goalkeeper of Laboratory School, who saved a penalty awarded to Nepal Police School towards the end of the game with excellent performance, managed to become the man of the match. Similarly, the Laboratory school has also succeeded in taking revenge for the defeat in the league's first match.

Rakesh Tamang, the trainer of Laboratory School, said that he was happy when he came third in the first competition in which he took charge of the team after the victory and that he will improve the boys' weaknesses and make a better team in the future.

The final match of the competition will be held between Nepal Police School Dharan and Little Angel School on Friday in the presence of Inspector General of Nepal Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh at the school playground.

In the competition, the winners will get 50,000 cash, trophy, medal and certificates, the runners-up will get 40,000 cash and the third-placed team will get 30,000 cash prize. Along with this, the best players in various categories will also get cash prizes and trophies.
