News Anjan Bista Decisive Again As Nepal Defeat Pakistan
GoalNepal

Nepal have registered a 1-0 win against Pakistan in a friendly played in Kathmandu. Anjan Bista scored the decisive goal for Nepal as he took his international tally to 11 goals.

Anjan found the back of the net in the 82nd minute of the match. Substitute Sunil Bal's floating delivery from the right evaded the Pakistani backline and found Anjan who made a run in behind and finished the ball first time with the outside of his foot.

In what was an even matchup between the two South Asian sides, both teams had a fair share of the ball but couldn't create many clear cut chances of scoring.

Anjan was decisive the last time Nepal played a friendly as well. He had scored a hat-trick against Bangladesh previously in September.

Pakistan had fielded three players who play their professional football in Denmark. But their return to the international football wasn't as pleasant as they'd have hoped for.

This was Nepal's first win against Pakistan in six matches as well as Nepal's 50th international match at the Dasharath Stadium as well. Awas Lamichhane of APF Football Club made his debut for Nepal against Pakistan.
