Kiran Chemjong's team Maziya Sports and Recreation have arrived in India to play the prestigious AFC Cup.

Maziya, the league champions of Maldives, left for India for the AFC Cup early Friday morning to compete in the continental tournament in Kolkata. 

Maziya, which is in Group D for the AFC Cup, will compete with two Indian clubs, ATK Mohan Bagan and Gokulam Kerala and Bangladeshi champions Bashundhara Kings.

Maziya will play their first match against Bashundhara Kings on May 18 and Gokulam Kerala on May 21. In the final match of the group stage, they will face Mohan Bagan on May 24. All games will be played at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
