New Road Team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the sixth Rajarshi Janak Cup going on in Sarlahi. NRT eased past Bharatpur FC 3-0 to book their place in the final eight.

After a goalless first-half, Kritish Ratna Chhunju opened the scoring in favor of NRT in the 63rd minute. A Bibek Magar own-goal in the 87th minute doubled the lead for NRT. Stephane Samir Binong rounded off a comfortable win for NRT with a goal in the 90th minute of the match.
