Ward no. 5 has advanced to the semifinals of the President Cup Running Shield Inter-ward Tournament 2078 being held in Miklajung Village Municipality, Madhumalla, Morang. Ward no. 5 defeated Ward no. 3 in a penalty shootout to book their place in the final four.

Both teams could score no goals in the regulation time and the match was pushed to penalties. And Ward no. 5 won 4-2 on penalties.

The winners' goalkeeper Nishan Magar was adjudged the man of the match today.

Ward no. 8 and Ward no. 1 will meet in tomorrow's match in the tournament.
