News Inter-Municipal District Level Tournament Begins In Hetauda

An inter-municipal district level men's football tournament has started in Hetauda from Saturday. Hetauda Sub-metropolis got off to a winning start in the competition's first match, which took place at Hupra Chaur in Hetauda-4. Hetauda Sub-metropolis got off to a good start in, defeating Manahari Municipality 2-1 on sudden death. 

The District Coordination Committee Makwanpur organized the match, which was overseen by the District Sports Development Committee Makwanpur. Manahari Village Municipality has been eliminated from the competition as a result of this defeat.

The competition features football teams from each of Makwanpur's ten municipalities. In the knockout system competition, there will be two games tomorrow (Sunday). The first game will be between Kailash Municipality and Bakaiya Municipality, and the second game will be between Bhimphedi Municipality and Raksirang Municipality, according to the organizers.

Raghunath Khula, Chief of Makwanpur's District Coordinating Committee, kicked off the ten-team competition. Chief Khulal, who inaugurated the competition, stated that it is held with the goal of promoting the sports industry and creating athletes.
The winners and runners-up of the tournament, will each get Rs. 200,000 and Rs. 100,000.

The best player will receive Rs 5,000, while the best players and coaches from each position will receive Rs 3,000 each.

Sanu Lama, Chairman of Makwanpur District Sports Development Committee, Bhagwati Pudasaini, Deputy Chief of Makwanpur District Coordination Committee, Santosh Chaulagai, Executive Vice Chairman of Bagmati Pradesh Youth Council, Ekraj Upreti, Chairman of Manahari Village Municipality, Navin Sigdel, Ward Chairman of Hetauda-4, and Tika Lama were among the guests at the inaugural program, which was presided over by Sanu Lama, Chairman of Makwanpur District Sports Development Committee.
