The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the referees have reached an amicable agreement regarding the fitness test. After ANFA postponed the fitness test for referees for the time being, the two sides came to an agreement.

The referees who had resigned en masse have now withdrew their resignations after an agreement was made between ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa and referee chief Gokul Thapa to postpone the fitness test for the time being.

The fitness test referees will be taken on a day when they are not engaged in the league or other tournaments, according to the agreement. However, it is reported that no date for the fitness test has been set.

Prior to the advent of Referee Director Gautam Kaur, ANFA conducted annual fitness tests of the referees; however, the fitness exams were now conducted every three months.

After ANFA insisted that the same fitness test be made mandatory in the league, the unhappy referees submitted a letter to the ANFA president and quit on Thursday.

Referees will play an active role in the third round of the Martyrs' Memorial A Division League, which resumes on Friday, now that an agreement has been reached. The referees had previously stated that when they resigned, they would not participate in the league.
