Army Goalie Bikesh Kuthu Nominated In NSJF PoY Award

Nepal national team and Tribhuwan Army FC goalie Bikesh Kuthu has been nominated in NSJF player of the year award.

NSJF revealed the nominations on Tuesday in Kathmandu.

Kuthu will vie against Gopichandra Parki (Athletics), Kamal Shrestha (Taekwondo), Mondekaji Shrestha (Karate) and Subash Tamang (golf) for the prestigious awards.

Kuthu had won 13th SA Games gold, clinched gold with Nepal Army in 8th national games and also helped Nepal Army to finish second in Martyr's memorial A Division league.

Nepal women's team striker Sabitra Bhandari is also in race for people's choice awards.

NSJF is an umbrella association for all active sports journalists in Nepal.
