
Nepal suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat to Kuwait on early Friday morning in FIFA World cup round 2 Asian qualifiers in Kuwait city.
Naser 6', Al Hajeri 13', Naser 50', Al Mutairi 59', Al Motawaa 67', Abujabarah 90+4, Al Mosawi 90+7 scored apiece for the hosts.
This is the heaviest defeat that Nepal suffered in eight yers. Nepal had suffered 9-0 loss at the hands of Jordan in FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2014 in Amman.
It was completely a lopsided affair in Kuwait city that frustrated many Nepalese fans present in the stadium and back home.
Nepal conceded two goals in the first half and conceded five more in the second half.
Nepal will now play against Chinese Taipei in Taipei on September 10. Chinese Taipei lost 1-2 to Jordan in its first match.
