Bangladesh football federation (BFF) has returned Nrs 15 lakh to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
ANFA spokesperson Kiran Rai confirmed GoalNepal that the money was returned to ANFA on Sunday.
Bangladesh FA had taken money from ANFA when Ganesh Thapa was the president at ANFA.
Sources told GoalNepal that representative of Ganesh Thapa deposited the money at ANFA account.
It is not clear why BFF had taken money from ANFA and for what purpose.
The money could have been taken in the name of Bangladesh football federation as well, ANFA source told the portal.
BFF officials were not reachable for comment.
ANFA has stepped up to receive advance payment taken by different district football associations and football administrators. The FA is yet to get more than Nrs 1 crore advance payment doled out by erstwhile leaderships.
