
Nepal National Team skipper Biraj Maharjan commited that his team would work harder to bring good results in SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018.
Nepal is taking part in SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018 scheduled on September 4-15 in Dhaka.
He said that his team would make Nepalese supporters happy by winning goal medal in the championship.
Speaking in the farewell program organized by ANFA at ANFA complex on Sunday, skipper Maharjan said, "Firstly, I would like to thank our honourable minister for his encouragement."
"We will improve our performance. We would make everybody happy by winning gold medal and will take our country's name to greater height. For that, we(players) will work harder.
Nepal are grouped with Bangladesh, Bhutan and Pakistan in group A while India are pitted against Sri Lanka and Maldives.
Nepal will open campaign against Pakistan on September 4. Gorkhalis will then face Bhutan and hosts Bangladesh on September 6 and September 8 respectively.
Semifinal matches are scheduled on September 12. Final match will be played on September 15.
