Bagmati Youth Club, Sarlahi, has entered the final of the first Marin Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament being held here with an impressive win.

In the first semi-final held on Wednesday, Bagmati Youth Club came close to the title by defeating Bagmati Rural Municipality, Makawanpur 3-1. Raj Bhusal, Sanam Dhimal and Deva Gurung scored goals in the victory of Bagmati Youth Club. Buddha Bal scored the only goal for the defeated Bagmati Rural Municipality.

Ayush Rana Magar of Bagmati Youth Club was declared the Man of the Match in the match. The second semi-final match of the tournament will be held on Thursday, Magh 24 between the organizers, Mungre United Youth Club, Sindhuli and Regal Hetauda Resort ANFA Makawanpur, the organizers informed.

The winner of the tournament organized by Mungre United Youth Club, Marine Rural Municipality-2, Mungre Khatdamar, Sindhuli will receive a cash prize of Rs 300,000 along with the title. The final match will be held on Magh 25.
