Female referee Laxmi Shrestha and male referee Bishnu Prasad Poudel from Nepal have left for Denmark to play the role of referee in the prestigious Dana Cup Youth Football Championship.

Laxmi had also officiated the matches in the last edition of Dana Cup. Similarly, this is the first participation of Bishnu Poudel, who is an experienced referee from Butwal.

During the conversation, both referees said that they are happy to represent Nepal in European country. And they also said that they will try their best to keep the name of the country in the competition.

More than 1000 youth football teams from 45 countries of the world will participate in the prestigious sports festival of Denmark, which will be held from July 22 to 27. Where there will be significant participation of referees from different countries.

The Dana Cup, which has been held continuously since 1982, is one of the world's top and best youth football tournaments.
