Portugal: Team B1C victorious In 1st Budha Subba Cup 2024
A Nepalese football team (B1C) based in England has won the Portugal edition of the first Budha Subba Gold Cup organized by Dharan Football Club.
B1C had remained undefeated throughout the tournament and reached the final to contest against NEP-FAM Club for the title.
A long pass from B1C’s goalkeeper Anil Gurung was controlled well by Saugat Gurung and placed neatly in the back of the net proving to be the decisive goal.
The winners B1C received a cash prize of Euro 5000, and NEP-Fam received Euro 2500 respectively.
Iswar Tamang was awarded the Best Midfielder of the Tournament. Saugat Gurung was the Man of the Match for the final, and Eban Gurung received the Best Player of the Tournament.
