Marik FC, Dharan has lifted the title of 1st Machhapokhari Hiti gold cup football tournament at Chaange, Taplejung.

Marik FC defeated Dandabazar FC, Dhankuta 2-0 in the final match played on Sunday.

Sagar Tiwari scored both goals for the winners.

The champions received NRs 2 lakh while runners up team got NRs 1,20,000. MLA Khagen Singh Hangam, Tribeni Aatharai chairman Dipendra Pomu & other guests distributed prizes to the winners.

Machhapokhari Hiti club organized the event.
