Hosts Panchthar Club and Tribhuvan Army have claimed to win the title of the 4th Panchthar Gold Cup.

Officials of both the teams that have reached the finals of the competition have claimed to lift the title in the prematch conference organized on Friday.

In the pre-match conference held on Friday at Phidim Ma Vi's stadium, the coach and captain of both teams said that the victory of the final will be in their favor.

Ardash Malla, coach of A division club Tribhuvan Army Club, said that although good players participated in Panchthar, his team is full of young players and will face a good challenge and lift the title.

He said that he would make every effort to win in his favor by taking advantage of Panchthar's weak side.

"Panchthar is a good team, they have been playing well in the tournament," said Malla, "but our team is not weaker than Panchthar, we will continue to try to take advantage of the weakness of the opposition."

He said that the morale of the players of Tribhuvan Army Clal is high because they defeated a strong team like Jhapa in the semi-finals.

Panchthar defeated Bagmati Youth Club 1-0 in the semi-final. Panchthar coach Milan Jabegu, who came from Panchthar with experienced players who have played in A Division and Nepal Super League, started well by defeating Saptari's Namobuddha Club.

Coach Milan Jabegu said that although the army is a strong and balanced team, it will be easy to win the title due to the high morale of his players.

"Army is a good game, they have players who can play at speed," Jabegu said.

The title winner of the competition, which will end tomorrow, will receive Rs. 5 lakh 5 thousand.
