In the ongoing 2nd Lahan Mayor Gold Cup here in Lahan, Siraha, Dhankuta FC has entered quaterfinals.

Dhankuta entered the second stage by winning 2-0 against Hetaunda Football Academy.

Nitesh Limbu scored an attractive goal within 4 minutes of the start of the game. Taking advantage of Hetauda's goalkeeper Ashraf Sheikh's mistake, Nitesh gave the team the lead. Although the first half was 1-0, Dhankuta's Sourya Raut doubled the lead in the 32nd minute of the second half.

Dhankuta's Nitesh Limbu became the man of the match. He was given 3,000 in cash by the organizers.

The winner of the Gold Cup, organized by Him Kasturi Youth Club and sponsored by Lahan Municipality, will receive 3 lakhs in cash and the runner-up will receive 150,000 in cash.
